No need to ever come back here! The food is very average or below, the onion rings were the worst I have ever had. There were flies everywhere! They turned a fan on but that didn't help. The floors were dirty and the bathroom is outdated and filthy! Not sure how this place is still in business.

I would compare this place to Apollo burger or Crown burger. So pretty good fat-ass-greasy-food fix place! Their gyro and fries with fry sauce was delicious.

What a freaking gem. I had their pastrami burger, and it was delish. Their fries were big and crispy, and the service was fast. The place is not beautiful, neither modern, but it's one of those old fashioned places that you kinda crave sometimes. Pretty cheap too. Has a drive-thru. And it's kinda by a freeway exit.

Food is delicious but when the service is not as great and the cashier with the sharpie eyebrows gives you attitude you have no choice but to never go back an asked for my money back when she gave us our food, she walks back to laugh n gossip with the other girl as me and my daughter are walking. I thought they did something to our food. I simply asked "is their something funny, because you keep starring an laughing at us!" Anyways she responded with "go ahead" when I said I'll just give you the food and I want my money back. She didnt give me the correct money TOTAL was 46.97 Guess we will never go back! Thanks

I went through the drive thru and was told my order was $15+. Sounded kind of high for a cheeseburger meal. I asked the cashier for a receipt. I was handed out my food and no receipt. I questioned the cashier again and he gave me back $4 - telling me he must have over charged me. It was so odd and I still wasn't given a receipt. Food is okay, but I don't think I'll go back.

Ugh, not nearly as good as Apollo or crown burger. Fry oil smelled old and the zucchini and French fries taste was pretty grim. The gyro wasn't nearly the quality you can get at Greek souvlaki.

The fries! I will sing their praises all day long! Thick, perfectly cooked, piping hot, perfectly salted! Fry sauce included! What more could you ask for? How about straying from the burger menu and trying their grilled chicken sandwich or simple, yet delightful grilled cheese sandwich? They serve Coke products (yay!) and shakes of all sorts. You can get exotic and try a Gyro plate with rice. I just wish they had falafel, too. Their newer location in kinda awkwardly placed, only room for one car in the drive-up. It won't keep me away, but a little annoying.

Crown Burger has not been unseated from it's throne About $8.30 for an Atlantis burger (pastrami burger) combo. Fries were par for the course for these types of restaurants. Fry sauce was TERRIBlE. It was not balanced at all, way way way too much mayo. And no added spices or ingredients. Crown Burger has great fry sauce and they add in some relish and spices. Atlantis charges 40 cents for extra fry sauce at the drive thru. I understand that a lot of these restaurants, even Crown Burger, charge for extra fry sauce at the drive thru....but the fry sauce is at least edible at other restaurants. Atlantis served light peach colored mayo as its dipping sauce. Pastrami on the burger was blah. It is much much better at Crown Burger. The bun was ok. The patty was small. Overall perhaps it's a 3-star burger, but considering the fry sauce was terrible and the pastrami was so-so, and that there's Crown Burger out there to compare it to, I give it 2 stars.

I have been here a few times, mostly for the piping hot thick fries, but the last time I went, I was greeted with rude staff, raised prices, a long wait time, and hair in my fries! Gross!!! The fry sauce is mostly mayonnaise, yuck, and they charge 40 cents for extra sauce. Won't be coming back, especially since Apollo and Crown Burger have the same or better menu items.

Good stuff. Glad they moved to a nice clean building. I especially like the pork and chicken slovaki (kabob) Grill chicken sandwich Good price, good food. Great staff. Never had a problem.

Atlantis Burgers is near our home and has become a regular fall-back when a home made meal isn't an option. Needless to say, despite having "Burgers" in their name, we always go with a souvlaki combo. One meal feeds our small family of 3.5 quite easily. We like to get one pork, one chicken skewer, and usually go with the fries as a side. (the lemon rice has just a bit too much punch for our tastes) - We like to wash it all down with a milk-shake. This isn't the fanciest place in town, but like we say, a welcome addition to the sparse neighborhood of chain fast food.

For those new to Utah, here's a small burger tip: Most, if not all, localized burger places were started by one greek family. I'm not basing this on fact or real history -- just skewed observations. Something happened somewhere along the way, there was likely a lot of shouting, forehead slapping and dramatic gestures. Now there are three or four burger places with virtually identical menus... bacon burgers, fries in yellow paper sleeves, and gyros. Crown Burger is the largest, not sure if they were the first, but they have a fair number of locations and do a great job. Next in line is Apollo Burger - as mentioned, same basic fare, but the restaurant isn't as nice. Somewhere down the line is Atlantis Burger. They used to be right across the street from Apollo Burger. Their signs were almost identical as well, and those were almost identical to Crown Burger... c'mon guys, try a different typeface. Really. It won't hurt. I promise. Now Apollo is located on Center Street in North Salt Lake. Like the others they have burgers, plus gyros and soulvaki plates with lemon rice. The thing that sets Atantis apart, and always has, is the fact that their kitchen staff have remained loyal. I've been going there for six or seven years and the same people are working behind the counter. To me, that says something. I'm not sure what it says, or if it's good or bad, but it says something. Nonetheless, the other thing that sets Atlantis apart is their incredible bacon. It's thick, and it's cooked perfectly. Their patty melt is on real rye bread, buttered to a heart-attack pitch. And their grilled chicken salad will make your metabolism ask if that just happened ("There's lettuce, and cucumbers, but what's with the chicken? And you ordered it with bacon? But wait, the greek dressing isn't as heavy as the... oh, how the hell do I process this thing?") The food is great. The service is fast and flawless. It's not health-food, it's not fancy, but it's solid and the prices are fair. You've got a group of people working in the back who know what they're doing and why they're doing it. Just make sure you go in; they have a drive-up, but this isn't McDonald's... the stuff isn't sitting around waiting to be assembled. The parking is also a tad screwy at lunch, so get there a little early.

I drive from DENVER to eat here!!! Best burgers. The absolute BEST fries and FRY SAUCE in the west. Never found a better burger joint. Beats out the other chains by a mile.

They moved to the old Idle Idle candy shoppe. on highway 89 center st north Salt Lake. i was craving a pastrami burger with visions of a former visit to crown burger. The burger was ok but the pastrami had a weird taste like a turkey pastrami. Best i better stick to Crown or Encore cafe.

The restaurant address is wrong on Yelp. It's actually at Center St and Hwy 89 in NSL, and it's well worth the drive from Bountiful for a good burger. Consistently great! The gyros are ok, but somehow they mix beef and lamb together, and the resulting shaved meat looks like fruit leather - only brown. Weird stuff. Really flavorful safron colored, lemony rice. Endless self-serve Coke products. The grilled chicken souvlaki is surprisingly not too flavorful, but tender and juicy... and the cucumber-flavored yogurt?dipping sauce just doesn't work for me. We usually go for the burgers and fries - both of which are WAY better than the chains, and a better value too. Huge selection, including dinner. Their fries are ALWAYS served hot. The only places that give them a run for their money, as far as burgers go, are Crown, Best Burger (in Btfl) or Apollo Burger - kind of per Douglas D's reviews. We usually go here though, for our burger fix. We've never walked away dissatisfied with the food, or with the value. Staff is very helpful and friendly. Ambience is the only thing brings it down a notch. Great food!

Found it on Yelp and stopped there for a quick bite. It seems they have just opened at this location. I ordered Shrimp Dinner. It came with 3 fried shrimp. They were delicious! Best fried shrimp I've ever had and never expected to find it in Utah, while we have lots of seafood in SF Bay Area. If we go back to the area, I'd go there again.
